Cardiology

Our Board-certified veterinary cardiologists specialize in issues related to the heart (valves, muscle, and electrical conduction system), blood vessels (views and arteries) and lungs. Our treatment plans offer the latest minimally-invasive surgical and interventional therapies, including correction of congenital heart defects and artificial pacemaker implantation.

Our cardiologists must complete undergraduate training, four years of veterinary school, complete an internship and residency in their specialized field (an additional three to five years of training), and pass the College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) exam.
