Veterinary Specialty Care, located in beautiful Charleston, SC has immediate openings for a highly motivated, skilled veterinary technicians for a busy 9 doctor internal medicine, cardiology and oncology department. VSC specializes in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, Neurology and Dentistry. We also offer 24 hour Emergency Care at two locations.
In addition to Charleston, SC being an amazing place to live, VSC is an amazing place to work!!!! Our new 16,000 square, state of the art facility offers endoscopy, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, DR, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, in house laboratory and chemotherapy.
Technicians at VSC are extremely involved with client and patient care. Qualified candidates should have strong communications skills, multi-tasking capabilities, able to work within fast paced environment, team player mentality, possess a mature work ethic and have strong technical skills. Skill sets required, but not limited to, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, anesthetic induction and monitoring, working knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology, radiographic positioning.
Position is Monday-Friday with rotating on call weekends (3-4 times a year).

ER Veterinary Client Service Specialist
AVAILABLE: PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME positions
We are growing and we want you to be a part of our team! Seeking a Veterinary Client Service Specialist for our 24-hour emergency locations in our state of the art, 16,000 sq. ft. practice in Mount Pleasant and our newly remodeled location in North Charleston.
Veterinary Specialty Care has specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, Neurology along with our 2 24-hour emergency locations. We provide exceptional patient care and client service to all of our patients and clients and we treat our staff as a member of our family.
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills, be friendly, outgoing and patient with a willingness to contribute to a team. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly advanced veterinary facility that is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Must be the able to multi-task including answering a multi-line phone as well as handle clients and all the other duties of the front end team as well as work well under pressure and remain calm, polite and professional with the clients at all times in person and over the telephone. The client service specialist is the first contact our clients have in emergency situations so being able to be calm and compassionate, yet efficient is a must.

Prefer at least two years job experience working at a veterinary practice, but will consider applicants with less experience with the right personality if they are motivated to learn and contribute fully to the practice.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Record keeping
- Clerical duties related to animal patient care and treatment
- Miscellaneous support to the veterinarians and patient care team
- Housekeeping duties to ensure client service area is organized and meets our very high cleanliness standards both inside and out
- Telephone communication with clients
- Greeting and checking in clients
- Inputting data into electronic medical record system
- Receiving Client Payments- posting & recording payments, receiving payment, running end of day transaction register, client inquiries
- Client Communication- update inquiries, financial discussions
- General Office duties- mail, hospital bills, cleaning/organizing reception area
This position requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, data entry, word processing, mail service, and a practical knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records, and terminology used in the hospital.
